Application

Laboratories, fume cupboard extraction in explosive atmospheres.
“Anti-acid” type fans for aggressive atmospheres and containing one or more explosive compounds. Resistant to most acids and solvents for conveyed gas temperatures below 50°. Ambient air conditions 40°C and 75%.

ATEX Gas zones 1 and 2:
II 2G Exd IIB T4 Gb
- II 2G Exd IIB+H2 T4 Gb
VSAL/VSBL CE Ex II 2/2G Ex d IIB/C T4, T5 or T6 X motor fans, for installation in gas zone 1 or 2 with single or adjustable flange outlet.
6 sizes: 14 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 42.
Flow rates from 100 to 11,000 m³/h.
2 standard pressure ranges for each model:
- VSBL: low pressure motor fans.
- VSAL: high pressure motor fans.

Construction

Polypropylene volute, UV resistant. For motor fans: adjustable to 6 positions. Position: 0 LG.
Polypropylene impeller with aluminum hub embedded in polypropylene.
Anti-corrosion gasket against the risk of gas leakage.
Support chair:
- Nylon for sizes 14 / 20 / 25.
- Polypropylene for sizes 30/35.
- Galvanized steel 42 and special sizes.
Turrets: polypropylene engine cover resistant to environmental factors.

Motorization

VSAL - VSBL Exd II 2G Exd IIB T4 Gb equipped with Exd IIB T4 Gb engine.
VSAL - VSBL Exd II 2G Exd IIB+H2 T4 Gb equipped with Exd IIC T4 Gb engine.
IP 55 class F - S1 motor without thermal protection.
Three-phase motors accept frequency variation (25-50 Hz) with the PTC probe option. Single-phase motors do not accept voltage variation.
- 1 speed single phase 230V, 50Hz, 2, 4 or 6 poles.
- 1 speed three-phase 230/400V, 50Hz, 2, 4 or 6 poles up to 5.5kW.
- 1 speed three-phase 400/690V, 50Hz, 2, 4 or 6 poles from 7.5kW.
- 2 speed three-phase 400V, 50Hz, independent windings 4/6 poles.
- 2 speed three-phase 400V, 50Hz, 2/4 pole Dahlander winding.
