Product Environmental Profile
To support professionals in this process, VIM provides PEP (Product Environmental Profile) environmental data which allows the carbon footprint of the building to be determined in the context of RE2020 or decarbonization projects and thus avoids having to use default values, which are more penalizing.
To utilize environmental data for the entire range of products covered by the PEP sheets, it is necessary to have .xml type files.
Each product has its own XML file, the data of which is organized according to a specific procedure. These files must be available in the INIES database.
Downloading these XML files into RE2020 software is the only way to use reliable and validated environmental data.
